This stone heritage house is located in the charming traditional village of Pachna. The village is situated on the south slopes of Troodos mountain range and has the altitude of 745 m over the sea level. It has an easy access to Limassol and the coast.
The village is considered as the largest winegrowing village of Cyprus. Pachna is also known from its great climate, traditional taverns with good food and grape festival in the middle of August every year. In the village there are also: two main churches St.George and St.Paul, supermarket, hospital, police station, fire station and primary school established in 1855.
The house is built of local Pachna stone which has its own unique chalky yellow character. The house's stone walls are thick of 50 cm in width. Its architectural layout presents an L shape. It consists of 3 connected chambers. The first one is the largest and is divided by a big arch. This area can be clearly defined as living area, kitchen and dinning area. The other 2 rooms are bedrooms. Traditionally the house's ceiling is made out of oak wood and reed. The floor is original made of stone.
The property is situated on a plot of 381 sqm. The external space is big enough for a good size garden and optionally for a private swimming pool.
The house needs full renovation and restoration. Due to the fact that it is a heritage property there is a government donation 40 - 60 per cent of the renovation expenses.
This property would be ideal for permanent living for someone who wants a peaceful location and a traditional house or it could be a fantastic holiday home.
